Let’s Work Together

As heavy as grief can be, I design our sessions to meet you where you're at. The goal is to support and work with grievers who need help processing and moving forward.

Grief never goes away; it's not supposed to. The work we do acknowledges and honors that while simultaneously healing. We talk about the day-to-day with your grief and have a long-term goal of where you want to be with it after six months.

Anything too hard to say, we take to the page. Writing was monumental for me in figuring out how to navigate my emotions, and I bring that into our sessions to help you with yours.

My life's work was born out of my grief, and I know I can help you co-create and alchemize your pain into promise.

The felt Write Experience

The felt Write Experience includes one 60-minute 1:1 coaching meeting once a week, for 6 months.

We will have a consultation prior to our first appointment to get a feel for what you are looking for. I will customize the plan based on your needs and evolve the sessions as we go.

Sessions may include personalized meditation/writing/yoga/heart-storming.

felt Write is an intuitive practice that will have overlaps in the disciplines. We will write during our meditations and heart storming during yoga. It’s designed intentionally to bring these things together in a digestible way for you.

I’m answering your Q’s write here:

Q: What made you decide to focus on grief in your life coaching?

A: I went to my sister's funeral on a Tuesday and returned to work on Wednesday. This was used as a metric to measure my okayness, being able to go back to work after one of the worst days of my life had just occurred. It's my mission that everyone I work with will have a deep understanding that their grief is not a problem, regardless of what their employer has to say about it.

Q: What has grief taught you?

  • there is beauty in the mundane

  • the illusion of control being shattered

  • not to feel guilty for living life beyond what I'm grieving

  • when I'm experiencing it, it also means that I've experienced love.

Q: Why is writing an essential part of your coaching process?

A: Writing has been paramount in processing my grief. It's a tool that I teach my clients to use when they cannot express verbally how they are feeling.

Q: Can you help me?

A: Yes! In our sessions, we talk about it, feel about it, write about it, evaluate, champion our wins, learn from what didn't work, and apply our findings to the next thing.

“Originally I connected with Emily to get my coaching business on track. Little did I know she was going to provide a support system to transform my life. She helped me understand my worth and enhance my growth mindset to tackle multiple goals. Instead of only succeeding on my business goals, I now have the tools to confidently tackle the biggest challenge out there: LIFE.”

Someday you’re gonna look back on this moment of your life as such a sweet time of grieving. You’ll see that you were in mourning and your heart was broken, but your life was changing...
